Darlington -- Clarence E. Dain, 76, retired trucker and a resident of this community nearly all his life, died at 11 a.m. Friday at Westbrook Nursing Home, Crawfordsville. Born at Kirkpatrick May 9, 1894, he was a son of Ellsworth and Anna Eliza Buskirk Dain. He attended school in Darlington and was a truck operator for Raymond anderson. He was never married. Surviving is a sister, bernice Dain of Crawfordsville. Funeral rites will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday at Russell & Hitch Funral Home in Thorntown with Rev. A. Dale Waltz officaiting and burial in IOOF cemetery in Darlington. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Saturday. - kbz
